Maintenance for the expansion has been complete and players can update to 0.8.0.3. (Shade: These are 2 patches, expansion + 0.8.0.2 -> 0.8.0.3)

In this version, in addition to the new expansion features (as you can see here: http://forum.wavegame.net/showthread...ll=1#post30062), this time around the update will also bring you some exciting events to celebrate the launch of the new expansion in a Christmas theme, the Year-End Event Treasure Hunting will take be starting on December 19th, 2012 and will last till January 2nd, 2013

Year-End Treasure Hunting Event

While this event takes place, players can do the following events; "Treasure Hunting" , where players have to find and defeat an NPC named Treasure Chest Ambassador . This NPC will appear at random , and it's location will be visible on it's appearance announce. Once players see this NPC appear, the players should go to the location as fast as possible and beat the NPC. This NPC has a strong defense, as such, players will get minimal damage against this boss. But after being defeated, he will drop a lot of locked Mysterious Treasure Chest . Players can open Mysterious Treasure Chest by using the Mysterious Key , which can be bought from the Inn proprietress NPC in each city.

Christmas Carols

In order to welcome Christmas, Santa Claus will once again visit the 3 Kingdom Online world, and players can find him in any city. After talking to him, Santa Claus will give the players a buff: 2x Exp, 2x Exp Soldier, and increases the chances of getting rare items for 2 hours . The warriors can take this buff once a day.

In addition to the buff, the warriors will also have a chance to get an item called Candy Christmas Blessing from defeated monsters while the Christmas events takes place. Players can exchange their Candy Christmas Blessing with the lucky draw box from the Item Trader NPC in the Temple of Heaven.

Besides trading in the Christmas Blessing candy that can be exchanged for items at the Item Trader NPC, while this event takes place, players can also see another NPC named HiQ Item Trader . This NPC has 9 kinds of interesting box', and rare items. Players can trade with this NPC by using gold, or in exchange (barter) for the items that you want to sell. The higher the amount of gold paid, or the more expensive the item you're bartering with, the player will have a higher chance to get the best box. The maximum limit for each transaction with the HiQ Item Trader NPC is 200 gold at a single time. If the value of the payable gold has reached 200 gold, adding any item for bartering will not increase the chance to get the best box.
